40 Years of Expertise Helping Patient Overcome Substance Use Disorders
As an accredited provider, Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services, Inc. (LCBHS) has provided substance use services for residents of southeast South Dakota and northeast Nebraska for 40 years. Today, LCBHS is recognized as the primary regional provider of comprehensive behavioral health services. LCBHS services are based on the latest advances in the effective treatment of drug and alcohol addiction. Our programs provide prevention and outpatient treatment as well as options for clinically-monitored detoxification and medically monitored residential rehabilitation for individuals suffering from illegal and prescription drug abuse as well as dependence on and addiction to alcohol.

Services
Services are designed to provide a continuum of care so that individual needs can be met based on a complex mix of factors related to consumer need and preference, what is known to work, individual values, and life circumstances. Our proactive approach includes individual and group substance use education, individual and group counseling, family education and intervention, mental health, wellness education, medical stabilization, and clinically monitored detoxification. LCBHS staff provides an integrated treatment approach that focuses on the whole person recognizing the complex relationship between health, mental health, and addiction. Treatment staff includes members with expertise in psychiatry, psychology, addiction counseling, and nursing. Services are provided in a highly confidential manner in a setting with a low staff to patient ratio.
Residential substance use treatment includes a state-of-the-art 28-day intensive inpatient treatment program where individuals are emerged in 30 hours or more of programming each week.
Clinically monitored inpatient withdrawal management program available if needed.
